It is with great pride that we announce the nomination of Caterina Micolano, President of the Alice Cooperativa, to the Commission for the advancement of the Italian fashion industry, in regards to the partnership between the educational and technical sectors. She is the sole member selected, to this committee, specialized in sustainability.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities is the culture ministry of the Italian Republic. Caterina is a woman whose words become actions. She has built a career, around social justice and entrepreneurship, especially for women. As a marathon runner by vocation, she knows that one’s personal best is a continuous work-in-progress; just like her career objectives, as she evolves in her new endeavors as a sustainability expert and educator, for children’s programs. This champion of marginalized communities is hitting her stride and taking all of us along with her.
